Game over the border

Life was quiet in the small Bosnian town of Bihac, near the border with Croatia, until flows of migrants began to arrive in 2018. After other migration routes through the Balkans shut, Bihac has suddenly become a new kicking-off point for thousands of migrants trying to sneak across the border in search of a better life in the EU. Migrants call it ‘the game’ and they are determined to ‘play’ it until they reach their final destination in Europe.
