Ukraine: Heading East
Donbass residents have fled southeast Ukraine after eight years of shelling and destruction by Ukrainian government forces. Some of the refugees used humanitarian corridors, and others waited for the Russian soldiers to come and help. The rest chose to risk their lives and look for the way out on their own. So why did Ukraine claim the region, while at the same time, it wanted to destroy it?
