Another Italy
After the Italian government approved the supplying of Ukraine with weapons, many Italians spoke out in opposition. However, their voices were not heard, and official Italy simply followed the lead of NATO and the US. Rare opponents who are not afraid to speak up were ignored. This was the case for Senator Vito Petrocelli. He voted against supplying Italian weapons to Ukraine and initiated dialogue in the parliament on the issue. But instead of being heard, he was accused of spying for Russia.
As the media stubbornly refuses to publish opinions that differ from the official narrative, the subjects of this documentary seek unique ways of speaking up – making street art the size of 15-floor buildings, forming a new political party, or traveling to Donetsk to film and share what is really happening there.
