Aftershock: The Türkiye Earthquake
When a devastating earthquake which claimed over 45,000 lives hit Türkiye, Asia Tash’s newborn baby was at the local hospital. Asia thought that her son might die. However, despite the risk to their own lives, nurses held cribs with the newborns so that nothing would happen to them. Unlike thousands of other buildings across the country, Asia’s house did not collapse during the quake. Now her family thank God that they survived. The question is whether it was divine intervention, or compliance with building codes that protected Asia and her children?
