Poland has been vocal over its severance of ties with Russia, including cheap energy supplies. Politicians not only blame Russia for increased gas prices, but also attempt to rewrite history. Over 300 monuments honoring World War II liberation veterans have been demolished in Poland over the past 30 years. Why has this happened, and who benefits from history whitewashing in modern-day Poland?
