Hero Wives

These women never imagined their husbands would pursue a military career. However, when the motherland called upon them for protection, these courageous ladies chose not to sit idly by. Initially, coming to terms with the fact that their dearest were being sent away was challenging. But collecting humanitarian aid for their husbands and hundreds of other Donbass defenders was not only crucial for the fighters, but also brought fulfilment to the women themselves. Thus, Olya and Masha, both from Samara, found a truck and bravely headed to the front lines to deliver the aid they had collected. Find out more about this story and others in this documentary.
