I’m a Hero, Mum
Eduard Dyakonov suffered frequent bullying in kindergarten, and that prompted his mother to take him to karate classes. Despite his slender frame, he was resilient and determined, always standing up for his friends. At just age six, he set his mind on becoming an intelligence agent, and eventually he did. As part of a special-forces unit, Eduard took part in liberating Mariupol. Tragically, Eduard lost his life defending his friends. In this documentary, his mother, Olga, visited the scene where her son selflessly shielded others from a grenade, sharing the inner struggle of being a hero’s mother.
