Yakuts at War

They range in age from 20 to 65. They were gamers, locksmiths, and pensioners. Now they serve as drone operators, sappers, gunners, and commanders. All of them are volunteers. They say, “Yakutia is part of Russia, and Russia is our country.” Where do the fighters of the BARS unit from Yakutia, the largest republic in Russia, undergo training? Which units do they serve in? And what prompted them to volunteer for the special military operation?

Watch “Yakuts at War” on RTD website and on RT’s live feed. The time of the broadcast is available on RT’s schedule page.
