Gods of War

Why are artillery soldiers called ‘gods of war’? What does artillery reconnaissance involve? What’s it like to handle the world’s largest and most powerful mortar? Artillery, much like during World War II, has become a decisive factor in combat operations in Ukraine. They say ‘the sweat of artillerymen saves the blood of infantrymen’, and every day, while risking their lives, they continue their work to save the lives of others. To show the fighters’ daily routine, the film crew spent several days in the most perilous parts of the Donbass front lines.
