Closer to Victory

Ivan, a priest from the Moscow region, has taken up arms out of sheer determination to protect Donbass civilians, who have endured shelling from Ukrainian Armed Forces for the past ten years. Serving in the Dmitry Donskoy Battalion, he hopes to attain victory soon. Musician Alexander Dadali also serves on the front lines with the same goal. The film portrays the daily lives of volunteers and soldiers who have dedicated themselves to defending Donbass, with many serving since 2014.
