NATO. Uranium Traces

Following NATO bombings with depleted uranium shells, thousands of people in the former Yugoslavia and Iraq have died from various cancers. Contaminated dust has penetrated the soil and water, causing lasting harm to both people and the environment. Why does the alliance deny these deadly effects on civilians and continue to use radioactive weapons today —this time in Ukraine?
