Eurovision normalizes Israel as extension of EUROPEAN COLONIALISM! – Lowkey (E747)

On this episode of Going Underground, we speak to ex-Mayor of Shiloh in the occupied West Bank David Rubin about Eurovision in Israel, Israeli support for Al-Qaeda and Islamic State militants in Syria and whether he directly violated international law by being a mayor of an internationally-recognized occupied town. Next, we speak to Raphi Bloom of North West Friends of Israel about the significance of Eurovision being held in Israel, the IDF’s possible war crimes committed on the Gaza border, BDS and whether the UN is biased against Israel. Finally, we speak to hip-hop star and activist Lowkey on why the world should boycott Eurovision 2019, Israel as a sanctions-proof state, the history of Israeli human rights violations and more! Lowkey also plays us out with his new song Long Live Palestine Part 3.

To answer David Rubin. There is nothing anti-Semitic about BDS or me or Wolf Alice. The difference between David Rubin and BDS, Wolf Alice and me, is that unlike David Rubin, the rest of us support the Universal Declaration of Human Rights from Paris 1948 which says all our brothers and sisters all over the world irrespective of their ethnicity, religion or nationality must equally enjoy the same basic human rights, including the rights to life and self-determination.
