Hong Kong protests erupt while Huawei wins extension

Protests continued in Hong Kong on Sunday as more than 1 million demonstrators reportedly took to the streets. RT America’s Sara Montes de Oca reports from China. Washington has announced a 90-day extension to Huawei’s license, allowing its entities to continue doing business in the United States. Todd Shipley, president of Vere Software, weighs in. An Iranian tanker detained in Gibraltar last month is back on the high seas after a court in the British territory rejected a US request to formally seize the vessel for alleged violation of sanctions. Plus, three young men are in police custody for threatening to carry out mass shootings over the weekend in Connecticut, Florida and Ohio. US President Donald Trump says mental health institutions can combat these shootings but critics say mental illness isn’t the cause.
