EU travel banned, NY town contained & stocks plummet as coronavirus spreads
President Trump announced a sweeping travel ban, cancelling travel from 26 European countries to the US for the next 30 days in an effort to avoid more COVID-19 infections. The UK and Ireland are exempt from the travel ban. RT America’s Faran Fronczak reports. The stock market continues to plunge, moving deeper and deeper into bear market territory, with major US indexes sinking as much as 8 percent. The European exchanges are also suffering.
