Russia-US talks continue; War in Ukraine hangs in the balance

With much of the groundwork laid out on Monday in Geneva, the Russian and US delegations are getting down to the nitty-gritty of their week-long security talks in Brussels. So far the US has promised a written response to Russia’s security demands which include no further eastward expansion for NATO or no Ukrainian membership in the military alliance – as well as a promise missiles, will not be positioned near Russian territory. RT’s Charlotte Dubenskij reports.

Then, former UK MP George Galloway joins In Question to discuss. Tuesday marks 20 years since the infamous Guantanamo Bay Prison in Cuba saw the approval of its first detainees. Over the past two decades – the detention camp has become an issue of great contention and controversy – and many have called for it to close.

Though previous administrations have promised to shut it down – it remains open. RT America’s Trinity Chavez has more on the story.  Then, David Swanson, Executive Director of World Beyond War and former Pentagon Official Michael Maloof join a panel to discuss.
