All eyes on Ukraine as Russian peacekeepers to enter Donbass

With the eyes of the world watching the eastern region of Ukraine, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced his country's recognition of self-proclaimed Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics. The move was immediately met with criticism by NATO powers, including the United States, France and Germany. President Putin ordered Russian military to move into newly recognized republics as peacekeepers. To breakdown all this RT America host Faran Fronczak is joined by former Pentagon official Michael Maloof, American University professor Peter Kuznick and independent journalist Ben Norton.

The Canadian "Freedom Convoy" has prompted a debate across the world about whether or not these truckers were justified in their actions. The truckers said they were peaceful demonstrators that were freely expressing their discontent with Canada's vaccine mandates and restrictions. However, the government of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau criticized the protesters and their attempts to disrupt Canada's economy. RT America's Paxton Boyd reports from Ottawa, then the host of The Dive, Jackson Hinkle shares his insights.
