Expect US-China trade war to take center stage at G20

Buenos Aires, Argentina has already seen anti-G20 protests resulting in the closure of streets. Officials have declared Friday a national bank holiday, hoping that residents will take the time to travel and relax to mitigate the chaos of expected protests during the summit. Meanwhile, the issue of the US-China trade war and whether it can be resolved during G20 is a major concern far beyond US and Chinese delegations. Trump’s Saudi line: Principles vs. Pragmatism

Donald Trump has continued his insistence that he believes that Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman didn’t order the death of dissident journalist Jamal Khashoggi. Trump’s former opponent Hillary Clinton says Trump is “part of the cover-up as to what happened” and that Trump and his circle have “personal” business interests motivating their blithe reaction to the Khashoggi affair.
