Leaders from Europe and Latin America met on Thursday to discuss the possibility of a political solution to Venezuela’s political crisis. China and Russia, both who’ve voiced support for President Nicolas Maduro, were excluded from the meeting. Venezuela relies heavily on foreign investment and oil exports, and Russia and China have deep economic ties to Venezuela.
