North Korea ‘not going to denuclearize’ – fmr Pentagon official
The Trump-Kim summit in Hanoi, Vietnam abruptly ended without a deal. Democratic leaders applauded Trump’s inaction, but former Pentagon official Michael Maloof tells RT America’s Sara Montes de Oca that Kim needed to “show resolve” in the face of dissent from hardliners in his own government.
Trump-Kim summit ends with no deal
After the cancellation of a lunch and signing ceremony in Hanoi, Vietnam, the Trump-Kim summit hastily concluded without a denuclearization deal. US President Donald Trump implied that it was his decision to “walk away,” without offering details. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo expressed optimism that negotiation would continue in weeks and months ahead. RT America’s Scottie Nell Hughes reports on-site in Hanoi.
