Hundreds of activists gathered in front of the White House to stand in solidarity with the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe against the Dakota Access Pipeline. Sanders said blocking the construction of the Dakota Access is “gaining more and more support” and that the US needs to “transform our energy system, not build more pipelines.”
