’Our spirit will never be broken by an act of violence’ ‒ NYC mayor on truck terrorism

A truck plowed into a bike lane in lower Manhattan, killing at least six people and injuring more than a dozen on Tuesday afternoon. Mayor Bill de Blasio has called the incident an act of terrorism. RT America’s Trinity Chavez reports live from the scene, near the World Trade Center.

Social media hearing: What did the senators learn?

Representatives of Facebook, Twitter and Google spoke before the Senate Judiciary Committee today, answering questions about the nature and scope of Russian electoral “meddling” in the 2016 presidential election. The hearing lasted nearly three hours and turned up nothing that the social media giants hadn’t released in advance. RT America’s Manila Chan reports.
