Sec. State Pompeo’s secret diplomacy

Before his official swearing-in, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo traveled secretly to North Korea to meet with Kim Jong-un and visited three countries in the Middle East. In his first official appearance as Secretary of State, Pompeo said US diplomats will get their ‘swagger’ back, RT America’s Manila Chan reports.

Facebook to police news, who will police them?

Facebook announced it will implement a system ranking news outlets by trustworthiness. The announcement follows government pressure to crack down on Russian government-funded media outlets. Gitmo torture tapes might still exist

Over 90 tapes of the torture of Gitmo detainees were ordered to be destroyed by the CIA in 2005 but an exclusive report in The Daily Beast indicates tapes of the “enhanced interrogation” of one particular detainee may still exist. RT America’s Anya Parampil reports.
