SCOTUS Upholds Trump Travel Ban

The Supreme Court upheld President Donald Trump’s controversial travel ban on Tuesday. The court looked at the third version of the ban, which restricted travel for people coming to the United States from certain Muslim-mayority countries. In a 5-4 decision, the Supreme Court ruled the travel ban is squarely within the scope of presidential authority. Defense Sec. Mattis Begins Visit with Chinese Leaders

Secretary of Defense James Mattis has arrived in China for a three day visit aimed at strengthening US-SINO relations. Speaking on Tuesday, a spokesperson for China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs struck a positive tone while discussing the status of the relationship. Mattis is the first Secretary of Defense to visit China in four years. RT America’s Anya Parampil reports.

The Future of War is Underground

 A new report says the U.S. Army is preparing for a new kind of war. The Army has a new half-billion dollar mission to train and equip 26 brigades to fight in large scale underground facilities beneath urban areas. According to the report by Military.com, the Pentagon is planning for possible confrontations between countries like China, North Korea and Russia. The 572 million dollar price tag will go towards new training facilities and specialized training equipment.
