The News with Rick Sanchez - April 11, 2019

Assange screams at Trump during arrest

Rick Sanchez reports on the arrest of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange upon his expulsion from the Ecuadorean embassy where he’d been granted asylum pending possible extradition to the US. We’ll also hear from former President of Ecuador Rafael Correa and former NSA official and whistleblower Bill Binney.

Jesse Ventura defends Assange, attacks Bush and Cheney

Gov. Jesse Ventura tells Rick Sanchez that “Julian Assange is a hero because the government doesn’t want you to know the truth.” He lists the war crimes exposed by WikiLeaks and hopes that Assange’s extradition to the US will be met with “mass protest.”

Rick Sanchez: Is Assange a crusader or criminal?

Journalist and author Max Blumenthal says that Julian Assange’s arrest in the UK is “an attack on international law.” Attorney and political strategist John Jordan disagrees, arguing that WikiLeaks is in the business of “selective hacking” and that calling him a “journalist” cheapens the profession. Rick Sanchez hears from both sides.
