Hong Kong protests now full scale ‘planned riots’

Rick Sanchez reports on the massive and violent protests in Hong Kong and law enforcement’s reaction. More than 80 people have been injured in the clashes as protests spiral out of control.

Huawei goes after Verizon as US attack backfires 

Economist and founder of Democracy at Work Prof. Richard Wolff joins Rick Sanchez to discuss the vicious back-and-forth between the US and Chinese telecomm giant Huawei. He says that forbidding Huawei’s business is “not good for our economic future” and will dissuade other companies from working with the US government. He worries that protectionist policies will make US companies more monopolistic and lacking in innovation. 

Another Israeli missile attack could spark WWIII

Former Pentagon official Michael Maloof joins Rick Sanchez to discuss Israel’s escalating aggression in Syria. He points out that Israel’s claims to be targeting Hezbollah and Iranian targets are a pretext and that they are in fact targeting Syrian positions and putting Russian soldiers at risk.
