Trump sanctions lift Huawei to new heights — oops! 

Despite Washington’s efforts to exclude and undermine Huawei, the Chinese telecomm giant just released a smartphone with fully upgraded 5G technology. Huawei has 29 percent of the global telecommunications market and poised to control half the 5G market. RT America’s Michele Greenstein joins Rick Sanchez to discuss. She points out that the campaign against Huawei is a symptom of a US tech sector in decline.

US raging at Russia for mediating in Venezuela  

Russian FM Sergey Lavrov has met with representatives of the Venezuelan opposition, led by US-backed self-declared “president” Juan Guaido. Lavrov emphasized that “all options are on the table” and that efforts should aim at common-sense compromise “in the interest of the Venezuelan people.” RT’s Yulia Shapovalova reports for the News with Rick Sanchez.
