The American and British militaries unleash a massive bombing campaign on Yemen, in response to attacks by Houthi rebels in the Red Sea. The militant group vows to retaliate, and claims to have hit Western warships, while also pledging to keep targeting vessels linked to Israel in a show of support for Gaza. Hundreds of activists rally in Washington and New York, demanding peace for Yemen, while some American lawmakers slam the White House for ordering the military strikes without approval from Congress. Israel is set to present its case this Friday, in response to a landmark case brought by South Africa at The Hague. The latter's Justice minister says Africa's own painful past puts it on the right side of history in its quest to find Israel guilt of genocide in Gaza.
