The strategic city of Avdeevka is liberated, as Russian armed forces have evacuated scores of wounded Ukrainian troops who were apparently left for dead by Kiev. The Israeli Foreign Minister declares the Brazilian President persona non grata following his comparison of the Gaza conflict to the Holocaust. Distressing images from Gaza where over 70 civilians are reportedly killed in a massive wave of Israeli strikes on the central part of the enclave, hitting a refugee camp.
