The guns fall silent over Gaza as a ceasefire comes into force. That's after Israel confirmed it had been handed the names of the first Hamas hostages set to be released. RT hears from a member of the Hamas political bureau who says Israel was to blame for the truce not coming into force earlier. Amid the fragile peace Palestinians have already begun returning to what is left of their homes. Locals speak of their relief and hope for a brighter future. Not everyone's on board with the deal though, with Israel's national security minister resigning in protest, while the Finance Minister is threatening to bring down the government, if the war stops.
