Can ‘drawing lots’ save democracy?

In his new book, ‘Against Elections,’ historian David Van Reybrouck identifies modern day examples of Aristotle’s “drawing lots” underway in Iceland, Ireland and Australia; marking innovation in democracies. He thinks democracy only can survive if innovation occurs.
