Fighting for peace with the Green Party w/ Ajamu Baraka

This week, to start the show we take a look at a special type of story the media loves to cover – poverty porn. Stories that praise people who live in poverty for surviving all of the terrible conditions that poor people are forced to live with. Then, Lee brings you some news that is actually positive.

In the VIP interview, Lee sits down with Ajamu Baraka, the former vice presidential candidate for the Green Party and an organizer and spokesperson for the Black Alliance for Peace. They talk about Baraka’s recent trip to Venezuela, whether third parties matter, why NATO is so dangerous, and the persecution of Chelsea Manning.
