The public good crumbles in the US & Pompeo says he would influence UK elections
The US used to be one of the most well-developed countries in the world, with world-renowned highways, community libraries, abundant public swimming pools and parks, and more. The government has let all of this fall into disrepair. Lee takes a look at this situation and its consequences, as well as the war propaganda directed at Iran, Pompeo’s announcement that the US might interfere in UK elections to undermine Corbyn, and more stories the corporate media aren’t telling you. Naomi Karavani sits down with Lee to report that the US has been kicking medical researchers from China out of the country and accusing them of being spies. Natalie McGill looks into a recent investigation that found nearly 400 current and retired police officers who are members of private Facebook groups that promote racism, Islamophobia and the formation of anti-government militias.
