Renegade think

Psychedelic drugs are illegal in most parts of the world, but trials are being done in the US and Europe to see how they can be used to treat mental health issues like depression and PTSD.

A growing number of people are thinking differently about psychedelics – one of them being comedian Shane Mauss. He turned away from a traditional stand-up career to follow his passion for science communication and the advocacy of psychedelics in mental health treatment.

Host Ross Ashcroft caught up with him to find out what he thinks about this new era of psychedelic-assisted therapies and if they can play a role in addressing the escalating mental health issues in our increasingly neurotic world…
