Britain Names Suspects In Skripal Poisoning Case
Britain has named two Russian nationals it suspects of poisoning former double-agent Sergey Skripal and his daughter yul-ee-uh. Prime Minister Theresa May says the attack was almost certainly approved at the highest level of the Russian state. For analysis, former UK Member of Parliament George Galloway.
Emirates Plane Quarantined at JFK
A commercial jet from Dubai prompted an emergency response at New York’s JFK airport after nearly 100 people on the flight became ill. Three passengers and seven crew members were taken to the hospital, with nine passengers undergoing additional screening. The CDC said passengers were complaining of illness including cough, fever and vomiting. There is still no word on what caused the 100 passengers on the flight carrying 520 people to becomes sick. At this time there is no evidence of a terror or security related issue. RT’s Trinity Chavez reports.
Tiger Woods Returns to Ryder Cup After Six-Year Hiatus
US captain Jim Furyk selected golf legend Tiger Woods as a player on his team. Woods joins Phil Mickelson and Bryson DeChambeau as they await Furyk’s final pick. In hockey, the KHL had a thrilling overtime game where nine goals were scored between Salavat Yulaev and Severstal. Salavat took the victory, 5-4.
