In a bizarre series of events, US military personnel were sent to Gabon to monitor protests in the Democratic Republic of Congo, and days later a coup attempt occurred in Gabon. The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration says trucking companies don’t need to provide drivers with paid rest and meal breaks.
