Racial bias in facial recognition software could lead to false arrests

A black man in Detroit was wrongfully arrested after facial recognition software incorrectly identified him, forcing developers to acknowledge the ways that racial bias is present in artificial intelligence. Essence Magazine is coming under fire for a number of abuses. With so much focus on government spending and defunding, we look at how the Veterans Affairs department is holding up.
