Whistleblowers in jail

Viktor Bout was held in top-level American prisons for 14 years before his exchange for American WNBA player Brittney Griner. During some of that time he was held in America's infamous CMU, or Communications Management Unit. On this episode of the Whistleblowers, John Kiriakou sits down with Dana Gottesfeld, wife of Marty Gottesfeld, another prisoner held in the CMU and an acquaintance of Viktor Bout, to discuss the appalling conditions for prisoners at the CMU.
