Two and a half millennia ago, the paragon of Chinese sages, Confucius, famously noted that the way out is through the door but for some reason no one seems to be inclined to use that method anymore. This saying seems very timely today when instead of trying to reduce global tensions following a rupture with Russia, the West is picking another fight — this time with China.
