Crippled superiority? Sara Flounders, Co-director of the International Action Center

They hate us, our way of life, our freedom, our democracy — for decades, that has been the catch-all justification for the United States to go to war or impose sanctions with little consideration for the cost or the consequences. Or at least that was the case until Washington attempted to sanction the entire world in its bid to penalize Russia. Have the Americans finally bitten off more than they can chew?
