English footballer Michael Bostwick has become the latest online star of glorious misfortune following this beautifully-placed pass... to a match steward off the pitch!
The wayward cross-field ball came in the match between League One sides Northampton Town and Peterborough United at the former's Sixfields Stadium.
The visitors were donning their fluorescent yellow away strip which was the source of confusion for midfielder Bostwick.
When the 28-year-old received the ball in the middle of the park, he looked to his left and played a beautifully weighted pass to another fluorescent top.
The only thing was, the top belonged to a match steward making his way around the pitch, and not one of Bostwick's teammates.
