Former US boxing champion arrested for allegedly biting woman’s face
Former middleweight boxing champion Jermain Taylor was arrested in Arkansas on Tuesday after allegedly biting a woman's face and arm, while also reportedly threatening to kill her.
Taylor, 38, was arrested in Maumelle at around 3am Tuesday, when local police were responding to a domestic disturbance call, AP reports.
The alleged victim says that Taylor bit her face and left arm when she was trying to escape the house.

The former professional boxer was released later the same day, however, and court records show no charges against him.
The 2000 Sydney Olympic medalist is currently serving a six-year suspended sentence after pleading guilty to nine felony charges in 2015, including a shooting that critically wounded his cousin, Tyrone DaWayne Hinton.
His last professional fight was on October 10, 2014, against Australia's Sam Soliman, when he recorded a unanimous decision victory.
