'Biblical': Oasis rock star Liam Gallagher wants Conor McGregor to star in new video
British rock star Liam Gallagher has called for MMA superstar Conor McGregor to star in his new music video after being inspired by the Irishman’s documentary film, which he called "biblical".
Singer Liam, who found fame in the 1990s as the frontman of Manchester band Oasis with his brother Noel, tweeted the message without tagging the two-weight UFC champion.
“I've just watched your film Conor McGregor biblical I want you to be in my new music video as you were LG x,” the 45-year old wrote.

Despite not directly responding to the offer, McGregor did retweet Gallagher’s words, meaning that a collaboration could be possible in the near future.
McGregor’s eponymous documentary film ‘Conor McGregor: Notorious’ was released in 2017. It was filmed over four years and follows McGregor’s rise from claiming benefits and living in his parents’ spare bedroom to being a multi-million-dollar superstar.
Dublin-born McGregor is a famously proud Irishman and often carries the country’s tricolor flag into the cage before his bouts. Gallagher himself also has ties to the Emerald Isle; although born in Burnage, Manchester, both his parents hail from Ireland.
McGregor, 29, became the only man to simultaneously hold two UFC championship belts when he claimed the promotion’s featherweight and lightweight belts.
However, his fighting future is in doubt after he was arrested and charged with three counts of assault and one of criminal mischief following his frenzied attack on a bus carrying UFC 223 fighters at the Barclays Center, Brooklyn in April.

McGregor has not entered a combat arena since his loss to Floyd Mayweather Jr in a crossover boxing match last August, losing by a tenth-round technical knockout.
