Kieran Trippier's first half free kick against Croatia was England's 12th at the World Cup, the most the side has ever scored at a major tournament, adding to the string of records already smashed by the side at Russia 2018.
Trippier netted a fifth-minute goal in the England versus Croatia World Cup semi-final from a free kick on the edge of the Croatia area after Luka Madrid brought down Dele Alli, to send the England fans inside Luzhniki Stadium into raptures.
