San Jose Sharks goaltender Martin Jones produced a stunning performance on Thursday night, making more than 30 saves to help his team secure a series-saving victory over the Golden Knights.
Trailing 3-1 in the best-of-seven series, the Sharks jumped into a two-goal lead in the first period as they desperately tried to remain in contention for the Stanley Cup.

Vegas cut the deficit with 30 seconds left in the first period, making the score 2-1.
Jones’ best save of the night came in the third period when the Sharks were leading 3-2.
Vegas’ William Karlsson provided Reilly Smith with a perfect pass to create a two-on-one breakaway which could have resulted in a game-tying goal.
However, Jones managed to ruin the Knights’ frightening attack by stretching out his right pad to make an incredible save that preserved the Sharks’ lead.
Jones' stellar pad save obviously inspired his teammates, who scored twice to seal a 5-2 win for the Sharks, sending the series to Las Vegas for Game Six.
