Juventus secured an eighth straight Serie A title as they beat Fiorentina on Saturday. The title win means Cristiano Ronaldo becomes the first player to win the top-tier league in Italy, Spain and England.

Nikola Milenkovic put Fiorentina 1-0 up with a sixth-minute goal at the Allianz Stadium, but the home team hit back through Alex Sandro on 37 minutes and then a German Pezzella own goal in the second half.

The result gives the Turin club an unassailable 20-point lead over second-placed Napoli in the table with five games to play.

It’s Juve’s eight consecutive Scudetto and 34th in history.

For Portuguese striker Ronaldo, 34, who joined the club from Real Madrid last summer, it sets another personal milestone as he becomes the only player to have won the top league in England, Spain and Italy.
