500 not out: Luis Suarez's strike against Liverpool takes Barcelona to Champions League milestone
Barcelona ace Luis Suarez netted Barcelona's 500th goal in the UEFA Champions League as the Uruguayan striker's deft finish against Liverpool helped the Catalan side to a Champions League landmark.
Suarez found space between Reds center backs Virgil van Dijk and Joel Matip to ghost into the penalty area and finish first-time to put the home side in the lead against his former club on the 26-minute mark.

And his strike not only put Barcelona ahead early on in the two-legged semi-final tie, it also saw Barcelona join the exclusive 500-goal club.
The only other club to have surpassed the 500-goal mark in the Champions League are Barca's La Liga rivals, Real Madrid, who have scored 551 times in the competition.

Remarkably, Suarez's strike was his first in the competition this season, as the former Liverpool striker broke his Champions League duck against his former club.
