'F*ck off Suarez': Barcelona ace hammered by Liverpool fans on Champions League return to Anfield
Uruguayan forward Luis Suarez scored 82 goals for Liverpool during his time on Merseyside but the striker wasn't afforded a warm welcome on his return in the colors of Barcelona for the Champions League semi-final second leg.
Suarez was one of the more controversial players in English football during his four years in the Premier League, but despite a series of red cards and more than one instances of him 'biting' opposing players, Suarez's goalscoring prowess in red afforded him a rose-tinted reception from the Kop throughout.
Not so on his latest return to the stadium during Tuesday's semi-final second leg. Suarez, scorer of one of Barcelona's goals in last week's semi-final first leg in the Nou Camp, has been the recipient of a chorus of boos from the stands on practically every occasion he has seen the ball.
The abuse for the Uruguayan has predictably made it to social media, too, as a Liverpool supporters (as well as some former players) take aim at their former idol.
"F*** off Suarez" rings out as he wins another free kick.
