Former adult film star Mia Khalifa has shared video footage from a surgery she underwent in February to repair her breast implant which was ruptured by a hockey puck.
The 26-year-old revealed that the four-hour long operation “couldn't have gone smoother” with her damaged implant being finally fixed.

The incident took place last year, when Khalifa was attending the NHL Eastern Conference finals between the Washington Capitals and Tampa Bay Lightning. The deflected puck which was sent flying over the glass slammed into her left breast damaging her implant.
“I grabbed my chest and I didn't want to let go, because I felt like if I did let go blood was going to be everywhere,” Khalifa said after being struck by the puck, which was traveling at around 80mph.
Dr Calvert who operated on the former porn star suggested that the implant could have potentially saved her life taking into account the fact that the flying puck was travelling at a dangerously high speed.
In explanation of her decision to share the video on social media Khalifa noted that she enjoys life as it is despite the “ugly, and bloody, and boring” things she faces on her way. She also added that in contrast to many social media users she is not hiding “behind filters or make things out to be better than they are.”
“Sometimes things are ugly, and bloody, and boring, and covered in hormonal breakouts, but that is life and I will always embrace it. This was my decision behind sharing my surgery journey with @drjaycalvert,” Khalifa wrote.
