Cristia-NO!: Ronaldo accidentally catches son in face with Serie A trophy during title celebrations
For a man who has had such a glittering career, you would have expected Cristiano Ronaldo to have been an expert at handling trophies. But the superstar made an embarrassing gaffe when he was presented with the Serie A trophy.
Ronaldo, of course, was center stage during Juve’s Scudetto celebrations, and was accompanied by his eight-year-old son Cristiano Jr, his girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez and his mother.

But, when handed the Scudetto trophy, Ronaldo was seemingly unaware of the top-heavy nature of the large cup as it swayed side to side while in his grasp.
And as it did, Ronaldo accidentally caught his son in the face with the sharp-looking top edge of the trophy.

Cristiano Jr looked less than happy about it, and had to be comforted by Ronaldo’s mother.
And Ronaldo’s model girlfriend Rodriguez had to be on her guard as she had to raise her hands to protect her from suffering a similar fate.
Footage of the embarrassing incident has been shared on social media and led to a host of fan comments aimed at the polarising Portuguese star, who appeared not to react after noticing his son had been hurt by the trophy.
One fan responded with a GIF of Ronaldo's Brazilian rival Neymar looking dumbfounded with the caption: "He didn't even care."

But given the latter commenter's Twitter handle is @SALAHGOATKING, that probably shouldn't come as a huge surprise.
