Russian women's volleyball team are setting their sights on gold at the Olympic Games in London, after winning the World Championships in Japan on the weekend.
Team Russia won a thrilling final against Brazil on Sunday to clinch their second straight world title, after winning all of their 11 matches at the championships.Russia's head coach Vladimir Kuzyutkin admitted that their fans would expect his side to repeat this success in London in 2012.However, he remains philosophical about the team's chances at the Olympics.“I would like people not to forget that this is sport. And no win in sport can be guaranteed. Our opponents will come up stronger in two years. But we only think about winning, at any competition, including the Olympics,” Vladimir Kuzyutkin, Russia’s head coach, said.
